But, once I got into the story I was engrossed! I loved the world of the cat clans, and there was plenty of action to keep me going. I honestly don’t even know how I had never heard of this series until recently – I mean, a book about cat warrior clans basically screams ‘Jessi book!’ I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about it knowing that it was more of juvenile fiction than teen fiction but because I went in knowing that fact, I was able to bring my expectations of the prose down. In the midst of this turmoil appears an ordinary housecat named Rusty.who may turn out to be the bravest warrior of them all. Noble warriors are dying-and some deaths are more mysterious than others. The sinister ShadowClan grows stronger every day. But the warrior code is threatened, and the ThunderClan cats are in grave danger. For generations, four Clans of wild cats have shared the forest according to the laws laid down by their ancestors.
